The weekend’s marquee matchup for smsupers is the friendly between world cup-bound USA and Honduras (Sat. 6:30 mst on FSC). Remember, we’re the reason Honduras qualified when USA pushed on and equalized in their last qualifier against Costa Rica. Both teams will likely use sides composed of fringe players. For the US, this means MLS players who are currently not in season and not very many, if any, of our European based players.
Where do you guys plan to watch? Tyler, do you think you’ll be able to view the match in Vancouver? This super has to work, so I look forward to hearing who you guys think may help round out the roster this summer in South Africa.
Feel free to discuss and add other matches on your radar this weekend in the comments.

Depending on how my morning goes, I will almost certainly be watching Tottenham host Leeds (FA Cup) United at 10am (mst) inside Flippers. We’ll see, but I’d love for the Spurs to show Man United how it’s done!!!
Leeds United is looking strong!! Should be interesting to see how the Spurs do at the small but mighty Elland Road!! In the words of Andy Gray,”this match has the potential to be a cracka!”
i will be watching in oso (GRIZ) country and don’t you forget it. USA! USA! USA!
Just an awful showing from our National Team! Of course a red card to a defender will throw shambles into any game plan, but losing 3-1 after preparing the squad for this one match during their camp is just disappointing.
